Literally, absolutely, 100% the most worthless item in the entire game, bar none. You can go through up to 5 Mag-Picks in a single room, but I honest to god don't think I used one Bypass Shunt per area, and I didn't even specialise in Hack. I guess you could use them on robots, if you get the skill high enough, but they die so absurdly fast to Electric damage, even on Supernova mode, it's a waste of time to hack them.
