Cupid of the Laboratory is one of the Tasks in The Outer Worlds. Tasks are optional quests that players can chose to complete in order to obtain special rewards, XP, or reputation.
Giles Molina, a scientist in Byzantium, asked you to rescue six sprats that escaped from his lab and fled into the tunnels beneath the city.

- Save the Sprats
Giles warned you that there are exterminator mechanicals prowling the tunnels. He'd prefer you return his sprats alive but said their corpses are still of scientific interest. - Return to Giles
You found all of Giles' sprats. he'll be anxious to get them back to the lab.
Cupid of the Laboratory Walkthrough
Speak to Giles Molina near the elevator to the Maintenance Tunnels in Prosperity Plaza of Byzantium and offer to help him to accept this quest.
Head down the elevator and rescue the 6 Sprats. You'll have to chase some of them, and press the interact button to capture them, so be prepared for that. If you are doing The Demolished Woman quest Rachel Lockwood will be located here.
As you explore, beware of Sprat Exterminator mechanics and an enormous Sprat called Kobalos that will attack you.
Once you have all 6 return to Giles to get 1,125 Bit Cartridges and 19,000 XP.

- Giles Molina will give you a keycard to the Hibernation Lab if you speak with him in the Ministry of Accuracy and Morale.

Bringing back dead Sprats reduced XP earned and Bits earned. Killed 1, got 800~ bits and 12000~ xp

I can’t seem to hand in the quest while repulsed by the board, is there anyway around this?
This was oddly a cute little mission. Sprats are kind of a little buddy that was always there and does not attack you, even rabids one are funny looking when you are forced to kill some and other rabids cower its sad so I try to avoid fighting those.
