Scientist Assistant, Level 0, Class A in The Outer Worlds is an Aptitude. Scientist Assistant, Level 0, Class A increases the Tech Core Skill by adding a bonus to Science. Aptitudes are bonuses that increase your character's Skills, this feature is included during Character Creation and players can only choose one Attribute they desire.

 

You've cleaned out enough test tubes to develop a keen instict for what goes in them and why.

Maybe you didn't get in the business to mop up the leavings of failed experiments, but that's just part of the job.

  • Increases Science by 1 point
  • The Science skill increases the damage of Plasma and Shock damage weapons. Science also improves the special effects of Science Weapons. Higher Science skill unlocks the ability to Tinker any weapon or armor in the Workbench, increasing their power.
