A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry is one of the Main Quests in the Murder on Eridanos DLC for The Outer Worlds. Main Quests are those that must be completed in order to advance the main story and progress the game.
Residue you found on the bottom of Halcyon Helen's shoes indicates she visited Rizzo's Purpleberry Orchards a short time before her death. Perhaps she left a clue there concerning her murder.

A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry Walkthrough
This quest is acquired automatically after completing The Last Role of Halcyon Helen.
Head back to the hotel's lobby and speak with Concierge Halston to gain access to your room then head for the elevator. Head up to your private suite and speak to Administrator Ludovico via the terminal on the left. Your are to continue your investigation at the Purpleberry Orchards. Leave the hotel and travel Southwest across the bridge.
There is an island across the bridge where you will come across some corpses and get attacked by some Canids and Marauders. After disposing of them, your Discrepancy Amplifier should beep and inform you in discrepancies nearby, you can examine these for additional XP. There is also a Workbench in the area. When ready, continue heading Southwest past a second bridge to get to the orchards.
From the entrance, you can speak to Sidney Moyano on the left for additional clues then follow the road southwest until your Discrepancy Amplifier starts beeping again. You will find a set of Helen's footprints shortly after, beginning her trail. You can also speak to Jacob Yarbough on the main path for additional clues. Keep on the main path until it splits and follow the road west for more footprints. You will also encounter a bunch of hostile Hosts who attack you on sight. The footprints eventually lead to the Conservatory. Inside, you will find Carter Reynolds who reveals that Helen had indeed passed through and was headed for the RR&DD Labs. Head out of the Conservatory using the other exit on the west side and continue following the footprints. The footprints eventually break off from the road, leading to a picnic area. There are some hostile humans and wildlife nearby. Eliminate them and pick up the RR&DD Access Card from the picnic blanket. You can now head for the lab north of the picnic area.
Inside the lab, you are greeted by Dr. Blossom via the intercom. Find her just behind the lobby and to the left. It seems she wants your help before she divulges any information regarding Helen's visit. Head down the elevator into the lower labs. You can choose to kill all the crazed employees on this floor or knock them out with a sedative. For the latter option, turn right from the elevator and kill or sneak past the hostiles. There are two large doors to the right leading to a control room of sorts. There is a hole in the wall in the back of the room where the terminal for dispensing the sedative is located. Activate it to incapacitate all enemies. You are free to loot them all afterwards.
Make your way back to Dr. Blossom. She will get killed by someone on your way back. Search her body for Dr. Blossom's Office Keycard and use the terminal at the glass window she was speaking to you from. You now need to report back to Administrator Ludovico. You can also continue looking for clues in the lab for additional XP.
When you exit the lab, you will hear an announcement asking Orchards personnel to evacuate the area as a pollenization cycle begins. This gives you the optional objective to deal with the Waspquitos now swarming the area. You can complete this by going to The Hive area Southwest of the lab. There is a small building with a terminal where you can abort the pollenization cycle, recalling all the wasps and granting additional XP.
At the Hotel, make your way back into your Suite and speak to Administrator Ludovico on the terminal to complete the quest and begin The Man Who Chafed. Upon entering the room, you will also receive the quest Prince of Tossball. You can do these in any order.

- To the right of the Orchards entrance, you can speak to Dewitt Hathaway and Clyde Eaton to acquire the Faction Quest Faithful to Thee, Rizzo's, in Our Fashion
- There is a Persuasion [65] Check for Dr. Blossom that convinces her to unlock some supply closets in the lower labs for additional loot.
- In the room where Dr. Blossom is, there is a weapon locked in a case in the middle. Examining the terminal will give you the Task At the End of the Spectrum
you can get Prince of Tossball earlier by investigating a charred letter in Bertie's room on the VIP floor if you get access, either by hacking the terminal in the lobby, or by using various means on the receptionist there.
