The Last Role of Halcyon Helen is one of the Main Quests in the Murder on Eridanos DLC for The Outer Worlds. Main Quests are those that must be completed in order to advance the main story and progress the game.
Halcyon Helen, beloved Aetherwave star and product icon, has been murdered! With the unveiling of Rizzo's Spectrum Brown at risk, you have been hired to find the pernicious killer and bring them to justice.

The Last Role of Halcyon Helen Walkthrough
You can now travel to Eridanos.
Upon arrival, take the lift down into the welcoming area and speak to Bellhop Norville for some clues. Make your way to the Grand Colonial Hotel and find Constable Keene in the Ballroom just behind the elevators in the main lobby area. Speak to the Constable. You are also introduced to Dr. Goodnight who is quick to endorse her technological breakthrough: the Discrepancy Amplifier. Equip it in a weapon slot and begin your investigation.
Note that the Discrepancy Amplifier will be used throughout the Murder on Eridanos storyline. It is advised that you reserve a weapon slot for it during your adventure on Eridanos.
Look through the amplifier and investigate the body. Afterwards, investigate the discrepancy just a few steps ahead to discover the footprints and have the amplifier analyze the dirt to get your next clue.
This ends the quest and begins A Momentary Taste of Purpleberry.
