The Board is one of the many Factions in The Outer Worlds. The Board can be found operating at LOCATION. Factions are special groups and allegiances that the player can join or fight depending on different choices or interactions.

The Halcyon Holdings Board of Directors is a group of CEOs from each of Halcyon's founding companies. Under the leadership of Chairman Rockwell, the CEO of Universal Defense Logistics, the Board institutes policy and law throughout the Halcyon colony.
Quests related to The Board
- Comes Now the Power:
- If you kill Reed Tobson or convince him to step down, you will lose a little reputation with The Board.
- Long Distance:
- Plant the tracking signal and talk with ADA aboard the Unreliable and you will be contacted by Sophia. She'll reward you with 27,000 more XP and you'll lose Negative Reputation with The Board
- Go to Byzantium by using Adjutant Akande's Landing Pad. Go in and Guard Esparza will let you through. Sophia will then give you the quest Signal Point in Space and tell you to speak with Percival for your reward and Nav Key. This will net you 100,000 XP, 2000 Bit Cartridges and a lot of Reputation with The Board

- You will get a minor reputation loss by completing this mission.
- Foundation:
- After you finish the quest and talk to Sophia you will gain positive reputation with The Board.
- At Central:
- After you finish the quest you will gain positive reputation with The Board.

- If you tell the truth to Hortense Ingalsbee, you will get negative reputation with The Board.
- If you Lie to Hortense Ingalsbee, you will gain positive reputation with The Board
- Worst Contact:
- While negotiating the debt with Udom Bedford, if you persuade him to indenture her you will gain positive reputation with The Board
- The Chimerist's Last Experiment:
- If you choose to either Kill or ask Dr. Eva Chartrand to work with Phineas Welles, you will get negative a reputation penalty with The Board.
- If you convince Dr. Eva Chartrand to work for The Board, you'll gain a positive reputation boost.
- All Halcyon in a Day:
- After you finish the quest you will be rewarded with positive reputation with The Board.
- The Lying Earth:
- Completing this quest will result in a negative reputation with The Board
