The Caves of Zeal is one of the Tasks in The Outer Worlds, available with the Murder on Eridanos DLC. Tasks are optional quests that players can choose to complete in order to obtain special rewards, XP, or reputation.
Virgil Henderson, a Board surprise auditor, tasks you with finding data for his audit of the abandoned Rizzo's bunker in the Holey Caves.

The Caves of Zeal Walkthrough
This task can be acquired by speaking to Virgil Henderson at his camp in the Wilderness Exploitation Reserve on Eridanos. His camp is located just outside the Holey Caves entrance to the Northeast.
After speaking to Virgil, head to the Holey Caves. There are two surveys to find here, the first is found where the path forks into 3. Take the left-most path and hug the left wall to find the survey on the ground. The second survey can be found by going back to the fork, take the right path and then another right into the Northern part of the caves. Fight off the canids and collect the survey. The final survey is in the Abandoned Rizzo's Bunker. Take the elevator from the caves and head to the room on the right then turn left and head straight to find the survey.
Return the datapads to Virgil to complete the quest.
