Starship Hunters is one of the Main Quests in Peril on Gorgon DLC of The Outer Worlds. Main Quests are those that must be completed in order to advance the main story and progress the game.
A hostile ship is trying to board the Unreliable. Their origins are unknown, although ADA believes they're either freelancers or pirates of questionable competence.
Starship Hunters Objectives
- Disable the Tracking Device
- OPTIONAL: Ask ADA for Help
- OPTIONAL: Eliminate the Mercenaries
- Return to ADA
Starship Hunters Walkthrough
After you complete either A Clockwork Mock Apple or The Man in High Orbit and board the ship to travel to another planet, you'll get a message from ADA telling you that you are being boarded.
OPTIONAL: You can ask ADA to break the engagement allowing you to escape the battle, if you do, the Pirates will still chance you down and the event will repeat.
Head to the airlock and travel to the Invading Ship. Once inside defeat the Mercenaries and use the intercom to talk to Coach Stilley. You can either persuade him to surrender or fight him.
Once defeated you'll acquire the Coach Stilley's Credentials which can be used on the front of the ship to disable the tracking device and acquire the Tracking Protocol.
Starship Hunters Rewards
Other Rewards: You can find various items in the ship, including a stealth kit mod and the unique Hall of Famer Tossball Stick which can be found in the locked room which needs the Crew Keycard. The Crew Keycard can be found in the upper floor bathroom sink.
